Actress Margot Robbie revealed that there was an entire “merkin” (genital wig) room on the set of The Wolf of Wall Street – according to Daily Mail.
The actress explained that she was comfortable shooting a “debaucherous” party for her new movie Babylon because she did scenes in her 2013 breakthrough role in The Wolf of Wall Street – where she starred alongside actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
“They have things called merkins, which is like a wig for genitalia. I remember for Wolf of Wall Street, there was an entire merkin room,” she said.
“I guess people would go in and pick one out. It was fascinating,” she continued.
Margot also opened up about affectionately being called “Maggot” by her school friends – during an appearance on The Project on Tuesday 17 January.
“That has been my nickname since I was six years old,” she said to the panel.
“I think a substitute teacher made a mistake on the roll call and said “maggot” and everyone laughed,” she continued.
“You can’t pick a nickname. You get given to it,” she added.
She explained that she hoped the mistake would have been a distant memory by lunch time. However, there she was talking about it two decades later.
