The Russian Army May Launch Its Counteroffensive

Russian military expert Boris Norin, commenting on the current situation in the theater of military operations of the Ukrainian conflict, expressed the opinion that the ongoing bloody attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a number of sectors of the front, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Rabotino, Staromayorskoe and Artemovsk, are not accidental.

According to the expert, the tactics of massive attacks in the same directions is an attempt to break through the previously studied sections of the defense line of the RF Armed Forces, which, in turn, indicates that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has limited reserves for the offensive.

At the same time, Norin recalled that such tactics were used in the battles of past years and even brought results. However, the result will invariably depend on how many reserves the opposing parties to the conflict are ready to use.

Developing his idea further, Norin suggested that if the Armed Forces of Ukraine fail to achieve success and break through the Russian line of defense in the Zaporozhye region, while wasting most of their combat-ready units, and not “territorial defense units”, then the command of the RF Armed Forces will have a small temporary corridor to launch their full-scale counter-offensive and achieve decisive success.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian air defense showed its ineffectiveness in the Lugansk sector of the front.
