President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the sidelines of the Economic Cooperation Organization Summit.
The two leaders reviewed further strengthening of bilateral ties of good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance.
The leaders noted importance of coordinated work, including in the framework of the intergovernmental commission for expansion of trade, advancement of cooperation projects in machine building, energy sector, textile and other industries.
A special attention was paid to expansion of business partnership of the regions, cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan also reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
