Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Holds Talks With Defense Minister of Mongolia


Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev met with Minister of Defense of Mongolia Gursediin Saikhanbayar on November 30, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The Ambassador expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in further deepening bilateral cooperation in defense, studying the experience of the Armed Forces of Mongolia in international peacekeeping operations and increasing interaction in this direction.

Gursediin Saikhanbayar, in turn, noted the high potential for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the defense sector. He also expressed readiness for close interaction with the Kyrgyz side in this direction. Mongolia will make every effort to establish an exchange of experience in the field of peacekeeping activities.

The parties agreed to cooperate in the military and security spheres, and discussed the possibility of holding working visits at the level of the defense ministers of the two countries and joint military exercises.
